What is inkless stretch mark revision?
Inkless stretch mark revision uses a needling device to create controlled micro-injuries within selected stretch marks. The aim is to encourage a healing response that may improve their texture and overall appearance.
No coloured tattoo pigment is implanted. Some protocols include a serum; the exact product, its purpose and its suitability for the procedure should be explained during your consultation.

What happens during treatment?

You receive aftercare instructions and a review plan. Further sessions are considered only after the skin has healed sufficiently.
Results, sessions and recovery
Results develop gradually as the skin heals and remodels. More than one session may be needed, but a fixed number cannot be promised before assessment.
Redness, tenderness, swelling, dryness or light crusting can occur. The treated marks may temporarily look darker or more noticeable. Changes in pigmentation can take longer to settle, particularly in skin prone to dark marks after irritation.
Early surface healing does not mean the final result is ready. Treatment spacing and progress reviews are based on your skin’s recovery.

Follow the written instructions provided for your treatment. These may include:
* Gentle cleansing and prescribed or recommended aftercare.
* Avoiding picking, scratching and friction.
* Avoiding swimming, soaking, saunas and heavy sweating during early healing.
* Avoiding exfoliating acids, retinoids and unapproved products on the area.
* Protecting the area from sun exposure.
Contact the clinic promptly if you develop increasing pain, spreading redness, discharge or other unexpected symptoms.
Safety and suitability
Possible risks include infection, prolonged redness, pigmentation changes and scarring. An assessment is especially important if you have a history of keloids, delayed healing, active skin disease or a medical condition affecting recovery.
Elective treatment is generally postponed during pregnancy. Breastfeeding, medication and recent procedures should also be discussed.

Is inkless treatment the same as camouflage?
No. Inkless treatment uses no coloured pigment and focuses on improving the appearance of the tissue. Camouflage uses skin-toned pigment to reduce colour contrast.
Will it remove my stretch marks completely?
No. The aim is improvement, and the degree of change varies.
Will it tighten loose skin?
It should not be presented as a skin-tightening treatment. Loose skin may require a different assessment and treatment plan.
Can I have camouflage afterwards?
In selected cases, camouflage may be considered after the skin has fully healed and stabilised, if a noticeable colour difference remains.
